Public data, and how to have it removed.
What we read, why some accounts get a page, and the one-click way out.
Reel Intel produces a performance report on an Instagram account. Most reports are private to the person who asked for one. Some are published as public pages at reelintel.net/instagram/<handle>. This page explains both, and how to have yours removed.
1. What we read
- Public reels, captions, hashtags, audio and profile details for the account being analysed.
- Public comments on those reels.
We do not read private accounts, direct messages, stories, private follower lists, or anything that sits behind a login. We never ask for, store, or use anyone's Instagram password.
2. Why some accounts get a public page
A report is published as a public page only for accounts whose Reels are already visible to everyone on Instagram. It exists so that account owners and the public can find the analysis, and so the numbers can be checked against the public posts they came from. Every figure on a published page traces back to a reel anyone can open.
3. What these pages are, and are not
A report describes publicly observable performance: how an account's own reels have performed against its own history and against the accounts it competes with.
- It is not a statement about any person, their character, or their conduct.
- It is not an assessment of whether followers, views or engagement are genuine or purchased.
- It is not a claim about how a business is run, and it is not a recommendation to anyone about working with them.
Where a report offers a view, it is a forward-looking opinion about content ("post more of this"), not a statement of fact about anyone.
4. How to have your account removed
You do not need an account with us, you do not need to be the registered owner of a business, and you do not need to give a reason. If you would rather your account were not analysed or not shown publicly, ask us and we will remove the analysis and take down any published page.
Email [email protected] and include the Instagram handle. That is all we need. If you would rather not use email, the Contact us button in the footer reaches the same inbox.
Email usWe action removal requests within 7 days, and we do not require you to justify the request or to prove who you are beyond being able to name the account.
5. Corrections
If a figure on your report is wrong, tell us and we will correct it or remove the page. We would rather fix a number than publish a wrong one.
6. What we do with the data
We do not sell data. We do not pass it to advertisers. Reports are cached on our servers so they load quickly, and cached source data expires over time. For how we handle the data of people who sign up, see our Privacy Policy. For the rules of using the service, see our Terms.
